I have tried to start this several times and can't seem to get a foothold before the spores arrive and kill me.  Any ideas?

I have not played it but I guess

Land two CNs just below the artifacts of odin and then use them to build nullifiers on the dry land, make the artifacts stop taking on packets, you can collect them later with guppies.

Meanwhile one CN at the top has access to a lot of free energy! Make going north a priority and and tap all of the energy. To keep the creep from overflowing quickly build mortors or cannons and fly them up to start attacking while you connect the relays with the aid of a terp.

You may need to use the pause function (press tab) as you will be managing two areas at the same time but only for minute.

Just played it, what a great map! Came in exactly 1 second behind RrR, I thought I had nailed it but no cigar!
