how did you create the shield thing at the top of the pyramid? i cant find it anywhere in the map editor

It's a CRPL unit. He created a custom script that uses a custom image. It also creates that large shielded area and emit Anti-Creeper. You'll note that this script is also used in one of the Arc Eternal Missions rather late in the campaign.

And just in case anyone gets the wrong impression, it's perfectly fine to re-use custom CRPL units. I was merely pulling teknotiss' leg.

You can save a map, then open it in the Map Editor. When you examine a unit in the editor, you can also see which CRPL scripts are attached to it.

I'm sure others know much more about it than I do.

when you say save a map, do you mean have a save file of the map from playing it?

No... it's actually kind of confusing.
However, find the map file itself (dunno why everyone keeps calling the save, the saves are the "-auto" or "-1" files), copy it. Make a folder in your "world builder" folder, which is in documents. Paste your file, and rename it "save" (Oh, that's why they call it that  :P). Go into your game, open up the editor, and load the folder up. Bingo (usually)!

hey mckinnal (fellow scot?) i stole the script from virgils "meso" map in the campaign (so you can grab it there or from my map/s) the path to the campaign missions looks something like this "C:\Documents and Settings\tek\My Documents\CreeperWorld3\data\sectors\internal\1" and it's in the story 7 folder.
"meso.cw3" needs copying and renaming to "save.cw3"  and chuck that into your map folder, then resize and edit the map as you like! hope that helps 8)
