bombers or strafes dont unload thay just fly over the spot i marked never going back to the pad

Screenshot? Did you disarm them? Disable them?
Probably this is not a bug. There are quite a few possibilities which let air units not fire. Grauniad posted 2, and I can think of 2 more: there is no creeper on that spot (I actually don't know if that stops bombers from firing) and it is possible that you are within range of an air exclusion tower (and if you're playing a custom map, maybe someone messed with CPRL).
If you still can't figure it out, please post a screenshot!
