Title: Low resulotion buildings
Post by: Gabbiman on October 17, 2013, 02:07:44 PM
I am having problems with the buildings looking blurry, any suggestions what might be the cause and a fix?

As you see the terrain is fine but not the buildings.

I'm pretty sure it's a graphics issue. (D'oh me). :)

Can you look for the log.txt file in the following folder
%appdata%\CreeperWorld3\  and post it here?

Thanks.

You are on a laptop? and playing in full screen (as opposed to windowed) mode?

Edit:  Did you have the issue on every map or did it only start after some event or time?  Have you tried to reboot?

If you change to the default window size, do you still see this? If you re-size the window by dragging the border, do you see it or does it go away?

And finally, have you tried to re-download and re-install?

That looks like a GPU driver problem with loading the unit textures or a forced quality option in your catalyst control center.

Looking at the log, your graphics drivers are pretty out of date (they are version 1063 and I think AMD is on 13xx right now).  So I would investigate getting newer drivers and trying again.

If that doesn't fix it, make sure you have not manually cranked down the quality settings of 3d games via the catalyst control center.  There are options in there to force low quality textures, etc.

I will try updating the drivers.

The 3d graphic in CCC was cranked down, that fixed it! Thanks!
