I can't figure it out.
Any hints?

a few hints
Spoiler

3 blasters was my first action.
don't bother trying to hold the bottom area.
dig a safe area for you to build more reactors and some tech domes.
suppressing the emitter area means less need for defense on the left as the creeper rises
aggression and lots of blasters will let you take the drones.

how you use those hints and in what order is up to you!
if you need more help ask again and i'll provide some more.
or a walkthrough!
hope that helps.  8)

Thanks for the advice. Boy this map was a pain.
Spoiler
Starting off with the three blasters made a huge difference in the decay of the shields by stopping the drones sooner. The rest of it was a massive wait while I held off the creeper up top with 2 blasters and a launcher. After a couple tech upgrades, I added a launcher making efficient damage on the emitter, while I built up 4x reactor efficiency, full packet speed, full energy storage, 2x range, 1x fire speed, and an army of disarmed blasters and 3rd launcher.
After 20 minutes of building up and maxed energy, I finally moved in on the emitter with full packet speed and held it back while I took the army of blasters and 1 launcher (stored energy) and quickly wiped out all the creeper in the middle of the map, deactivated all but 3 or 4 blasters and just barely got reactors in across the bottom before I ran out of energy and lost hold of the emitter. Holy crap that was tough!
After that, I had more than enough energy to wipe out the remaining creeper, fill the map up with reactors and tech domes and finish the place off.
One more note - the portal dug a sort of bowl in the lower left of the screen which served to capture a huge amount of creeper. Might have made a big difference in my survival.

Anyway, that was a BEAR!

this was the most annoying map ever

finally beat it after several times of screwing it up...  the worst being not realizing that creeper had gotten out of hand while I was making my way towards the spore emitter.  Ctrl+C'd and then realized the whole map was dead and it was time to start over... oy!!!

I found that a little digging in the right spots on the left kept the creeper at the top manageable. After several times where that creeper wiped me out.
