Title: Number of save slots
Post by: asmussen on July 25, 2013, 03:37:52 PM
Does CW3 support more save slots than the previous games? I find the current restrictions kind of limitting for playing the weekly tournaments. I'll often overwrite a save from a previous board to make room for one of the other tournament boards, and then later decide to reoptimize the old board, but not have a save that I would have liked to have started at.

Each map will have individual save slots.

There is an auto save (you get it whether you want to or not)

There is a quick save/quick restore (keyboard-only)

And then 5 (I think) slots for individual saves on each map.

Awesome, can't wait for CW3 to come out. :D

@Gr, 4 slots, not 5

4+quicksave, or 5 total.

whatever floats your goat.

So we save progress on individual maps?  What about our progress in the game as a whole?  Is that automagically preserved, or do we save that separately?

The game progress will be saved automatically, like in both other games.
