Hey guys.
Sorry to hijack your thread but I could use a bit of help from everyone who takes part in thes challenges, and I figured this was a good place to reach everyone.
Quick question - how many save slots would you consider optimal in the upcoming CW3?
This came up elsewhere, so it's on my mind.
I personally think that the 8 + quicksave of CW2 is pretty good, maybe an extra couple.
I'll often use all of my slots and start overwriting earlie saves when I'm really trying to find the best way to tackle a map.
I'd be interested to see what others think.
Either reply here, in the saves thread in CW3 upcoming chatter or PM me.
Thanks.
Back to your games now!

Exactly. A couple more wouldn't be bad, but the current number is good enough.
Am I the only one who thinks of Ctrl+S as the keyboard shortcut for Save, and Ctrl+C as Copy? And there have been a couple of times when ol' fumblefingers here has tried to hit Ctrl+C and instead accidentally hit the next key over (Ctrl+V). Much invective was spilled those days, I assure you...

You can customize they keyboard mapping in CW3. No more condemning your soul over a few key strokes. :)
I like the idea of per board save slots, although I do think that the optimal number of slots per board might be a little higher than 5.

Part of me really likes that idea, and part of me is aware that it won't be long before I have a brazillion saved games piled up.

It's true.
The good news is that they're tiny and you can delete them easily.
