This topic is for discussion of map: Inlets (http://knucklecracker.com/creeperworld/mapcomments.php?id=6034)

This can possibly lag, due to the immense power and speed needed to finish. I'm fairly certain it can be done in 18min or under, I will re-try once it's posted.

Hey thanks! I'm really into the longer battle-type games, so I guess that's what I'm prone to create as well. Got a doozy coming up, it's probably going to just piss some people off, haha!

hello everybody.

I have a question: Please help me with this map.

I have a picture attached of my progress.
How to continue?

Please help me.

You need a lot more energy...

I would like to point out that to conserve space, you can connect collectors between reactors, ie. instead of having C-C, you can have C-R-C, to only need to build half as many collectors (and have reactors in place of the other half, which produce more energy).

EDIT: I don't think this will be a particularly good strategy for speed running the map - but if you're actually stuck it can save a lot of space (but takes much lnger to build up).

i'm stuck at the point that i'm close to the emitters.
evrytime i put a blaster there i'm out of ammo before i can build a collector.
(see picture)

You are running out of ammo because you are running at a huge deficit, which is greatly slowing down packet delivery. You have attempted to fix this by building lots of speed nodes, but you should be building reactors instead (and a few storage nodes). Speed nodes are useless if you have to constantly wait for energy to be generated. You also don't really need the (energy expensive) mortars firing away either...

I have tried this solution but still the packets arrive to late

maybe the storage nodes will help let's try that

And

Spoiler
you could always try to breach your headland with more than one blaster at once
[close]

and

Spoiler
you could land some extra blasters on the emitters nearby for (temporary relief)
[close]

and

Spoiler
blasters can be turned on and off so as to portion their energy
[close]

;D

You need more energy production - the OC obviously can't give out energy that it does not have. It is not producing enough energy to keep all of the blasters firing continuously. More storage (if you wait for it to fill up), will only make it take longer before you run out of energy, it will not stop you from running out of energy.
