Not too difficult, just some timing issues. I'm sure it can be done under 8 minutes.

What are you having problems with? The Spores? It takes quite a while for the Creeper to advance, with the mines. Pretty much, you just have to get a defensive line all the way across, and then advance on the creeper once it breaks through the last mines. Maybe you're advancing too fast? You have plenty of time to build a ton of power first, just don't forget the survivor pods and building SAMs. Anything specific you need help with?

@SamIAm - Maybe I'm just over- or under-building my blasters...I can get collectors & several reactors built across the bottom edge of the map (just above the "berm"), along with 3-4 SAMs...how many blasters do I need to hold off the tide of creeper until I can keep building enough energy to advance?  I most recently tried it with 6 blasters, which would probably be enough to hold off the creeper, but I can't get enough energy built quickly enough to support all of these.
