Here's a hint for yum...
Don't make map completion require gateways breaking blocks, and then not set any gateways to break blocks... Getting 20 minutes into the map onto to find out that an idiot map designer rendered it impossible to complete just makes people mad

and here's a hint for you.
all maps are moderated by the mapmods, and no map is passed if it is unplayable.
reading that first time posters are happy to call established (and prolific) map makers names makes me sad  :(
please be civil when posting, name calling and personal attacks are bannable offences.
questions or constructive criticism are welcomed
now what i think you meant was...
"which gateways dig through the solid terrain."
and the answer is...
"the two that are in the underground chambers approx halfway down the map."
they are set to dig intervals of 300 so that's every 10 secs.
so if they are still there and not digging it's probably the free AntiCreeper from the drones blocking the dig packets, since AC stops enemy dig packets.

While I understand and sympathize with map rage, it is important for all to bear in mind that comments here live on long after the rage has gone, being hurtful to other members of the community, or putting the poster in a bad light long after the event.

There are also guideline (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=10092.0)s for appropriate boundaries for comments.

alright, u apparently need to explain this map to me, i had 0 anti creeper on the map and the solid blocks still didnt break, i think u need to teach us where these magic portals are

it'll be one of the gateways, so either don't destroy any or download the map editor and open the map up. select the "units" tab on the left and then click each gateway in turn and note the location of any that have a number in the "Dig Interval" box. then you can play again with the knowledge of which gateway needs to be left alone.
