The trick on the start is to quick build 4 or 5 reactors, then nullify one emitter before it activates. 2 blasters (with 1 more as soon as you can) will then hold off the creeper while you build, dig and eventually take out the second emitter from the rear.

When opening the drone chamber you'll need an army of maxed out blasters; and it would be a good idea to deactivate your forward micro rifts.
