An honour indeed, especially coming from someone i regard as Expert, thank you.

You are in opposition though, with the three voters issuing 1 stars.

Perhaps they think it should be 'expert', but then none of my maps i could deem as such. The logic being that that is something i am not and so how is it possible to produce one?

Comments like yours, i think, are very encouraging* to map makers, cheers!

* The opposite being true of course. (For example, one good map maker, Wizy has not made any after getting slated for one or two of his excellent 'Campaign' maps).

You should have seen my reaction when I played the first time and went to build blasters and it wasn't there!  I then scanned the board to see where the tech was hiding, so I could go get it, and it wasn't there!  I didn't realize you could (almost) cap a strong emitter with mortars, and the sheer number needed was crazy.  I probably had at least a dozen mortars around that center spot.  Yes, flying mortars and blasters back and forth to keep the survivors alive was a little annoying.  Without that aspect this would have still been a good challenge.  Like jerdog mentioned, some of the recent maps have been tending too much towards the annoying rather than the difficult, or sometimes just boring, though the line blurs somewhere.  Still, it is fun to see what people come up with, so keep trying :D

This looks like it's going to be seriously annoying. But I'll keep my trap shut until I at least manage to post a score... 8)
