So, I was looking at my scores relative to SmileyCoder's to decide which map to replay, and I'm thinking: "Hmmm...that one's got a 200 point spread, that one's 300 points, um, that one's 400 points, Um, that one's--wow!--700 points."  Yikes.  Impressive as always.

Try replaying any map, and you will usually find that on the second time around you can improve by quite a bit.

Thanks.  I often do improve.  But 700 points will be a stretch :)

I dont see any scores with a 700 point difference.

Decided to try all the maps.

I kinda have some OCD as I tend to advance pretty slowly.

I'd be good practice to work on my speed runs to keep trying to do these.

12 players have now set their mark on this weeks tournament! Always a joy to see so many competing. I see that both Helper and dt42 are getting closer to my scores.

SmileyCoder, you have a hell of a good mind for strategy and tactics.  I never managed to get control of the right side of the map the way you did to get down to the bottom quickly enough.  I also almost never use long beams on the repulsors.  Now I'm going to try to replay that level...

Now If you excuse me I'm going to cry about how much I suck in Creeper World 2

I don't have that rush mindset plus I have severe OCD about going ever so slightly over Deficit.

Also you paused a lot I'll need to do that in order to get better scores.

I also need to replay these maps.

(So much to improve on :P)

I have been playing CW2 for a year now, that should give some experience.

Also remember the video is playing at 500% speed. It took 22 minutes in real life to play the 7:09 min gametime mission, so trust that I use pause alot.

So I found/made some time to compete this week. It made me realize just how insanely good your times are SmileyCoder (even though I only care to play through missions once). I pay my respects.

@Lord Farin, All but the video maps was only played once this week. A key importance is to be very energy careful for the first 1 minute. I often find my self saving and reloading 2-5 times to get the first 20 seconds right. With code maps being generated creeper empty, there is usually a sort of exponential correlation for the times. If you get to the first cave fast, it might only take 30 seconds to kill the creeper built up, but get to it late it might take a full minute cause more creeper has had time to pile up. This means you get even latter to the second cave, and so on.

I have for once taken the liberty to remove scores posted by a player. I simply do not believe its possible to beat "5 Card Draw(Poker" in 3:13. Im guessing its simply The master posting scores under a new name.

As I am hosting this weeks competition, please remember that should I win, it will be the runner up deciding next weeks theme! Come on, play some more, squeeze a few less seconds into the game!
