Great fun map although I was dissappointed not to be able to fight the second nexus, it blew up when I killed the first one.

Next time isolate the 1st one (4 Dark Beams should do it) and then go after the second one at your leisure. :)

Thank you. :) Even I was surprised enough when I played it, it exploded and the other one also. However, I purposely left there a large enough space. Can you advise me as to effectively separate them next time?

i'm pretty sure all nexii will die when you kill one. i think it's hard coded in the game.

I think everything (emitters, gateways, creeper, drones, nexii) blows up when you kill one nexus.

Yes, the game is set so that if you destroy a nexus, it ends. everything enemy unit on the map gets destroyed.  There are even maps that rely on this.
