Title: Creeper Color
Post by: Apocalypstic on December 06, 2009, 01:50:35 PM
So I was wondering...could you add in an option to change the color of the creeper? It gets rather dull seeing the same colored enemy for so many hours, and different colors would help mix it up. And personally, I don't really like the bluish-purple color that much.

Let me experiment and see....
Changing the color is easy enough... making it changeable per map is a little harder.  The little bitmaps are precomputed when the game starts, so they will have to be recomputed when a map starts.  But, I should be able to make it work.

I like the idea... in the beginning the Creeper was red... bright red.  Custom colored Creeper expands the possibilities with custom backgrounds as well.

Also be able to have custom maps that can use the colors as well.

"Select the color of your Creeper:
Red
Blue
Green
Yellow
(HEX CODE and this pops up a type in box under the selection)"

User can override this color.

well no the player would be able to select the colour the creeper would be on the custom map so it doesnt really matter if you set a colour on a custom map
