I fully expect a lot of you to hate me for this one.
One way to win, many ways to lose. A lot of time is spent waiting, but it gets frantic fast. There's no room for errors, so cut corners when you can.
Out of curiousity, is this inspirted off of my map:http://knucklecracker.com/creeperworld/mapcomments.php?id=5277&scores=1 (http://knucklecracker.com/creeperworld/mapcomments.php?id=5277&scores=1)? I only ask because I originally hoped someone would be inspired to do an improved version of it.
I hadn't, but now wish I had. It would have saved me a lot of trial and error. I don't know about you, but it took me forever to get the timing right.
The hardest part for me was the turns. The Creeper would slow down so much that I had to set up emitters for boosts.
with a map with so much waiting I would have preferred having some warning about the events, particularly how many spores were coming and when the bomb goes off (if it does, I gave up after the first spore wave)
That's what the "encrypted message" is all about (wink wink nudge nudge knowwhatimean).
And there is a bomb, but I only put it in there because it is possible to survive all the spores. But even with only a couple of mistakes you should be gone long before then.
Wow. Watching a map play all by itself while I go brush my teeth, take a shower... what idiot makes a map like this?

so - i think i'm missing something here. I havn't played cw 1 in a long time but this map seems imposible. You start with only collectors and cant fly over the tech to get it. but the spores came quite a while before i got built out to the sam tech...and you cant bridge, because you only have collectors.
