Title: Maybe CW & CW2 can join this?

Because We May

We believe that developers should have the freedom to price their games how they like, without interference from the online stores that sell the games. Why? Because it allows us to promote our games more freely, as we are doing here! We rely on the ability to promote our games for our livelihood and control over pricing is an important tool for this purpose.

For the last week of May (May 24 through June 1) our games will be deeply discounted to celebrate online stores that give us control over pricing: The App Store, Google Play, Steam, and a few others.

If you are a developer and would like to endorse this message by discounting your game between May 24 and June 1, click here to add your game to this promotion (it will appear in the lists linked to above):

Registration will stay open during the sale.

btw, I try the demo and find out CW is a great RTS game with TD idea, hope to see it on the list of "Direct from Developer".
Thanks Knuckle Cracker for making this wonderful game!

Well... why not!
I've been wanting to try a sale, so this is as good a chance as any.

I've discounted each game to $4.99 on my site and submitted to 2dboy.

Thanks virgilw! I really appreciate that.
Hope more people will buy and enjoy CW!

btw, you should try to submit your game to Steam or other platforms, especially Steam has a Workshop that users can easily share their user created content (levels) all over the world.
There's Steamworks that include Achievements, Leaderboards, Cloud save etc.

FYI, an indie game just joined Steam Workshop recently

No problem.  It will be if nothing else a useful experiment.

Help spread the news, though.... Sales like this are only as good as the exposure they get.

Though I don't think creeper world has shown up on the page yet. I wonder how long it will take him to update.

They just added them. Congrats!

btw, you can also add a pack include CW+CW2 Sale $9.99, I saw other developers did the same thing, like "Penny Arcade: Precipice of Darkness Combo Pack", but when they click into your website, visitors can notice this sale easily, so never mind.

I can't help but notice that one game being advertised here cut their price from 0$ to 0$ lol.

Yep, I'm a little bit disappointed too. They seems like add games without selection. The games that they just added is not as good as previously.
They even add a $0 game done in 19 hours, now they changed $0 to Free but that's the same.

So forget about this suggestion. :(

For an initiative like this, all that matters at the end of the day is exposure.  Sales of good games are basically a function of exposure.  If I double exposure on a given day, I double sales (there can be a half day lag since people evaluate the demo first).  This initiative is definitely increasing exposure.  How well it will hold up over the next week (grow, shrink, stay the same....) is unknown at this point.

My expectation is that as popularity grows, the number of games on the site will also grow... and that of course will dilute the exposure that each game gets.  Of course this initiative's exposure could easily grow by a factor of 10 or even 100 if enough games get in and the whole thing gets lots of press exposure.
