Title: Academy saves on a different computer
Post by: weekendgamer on April 21, 2012, 05:58:42 AM
I just finished playing CW2: academy on a different computer than i normally use. I wonder, is it possible to transfer your game save progress on CW2:A to another computer?

Yes, it will probably be in the Adobe local storage under the site where you played it.

Here's a link to a tool that will display some stuff as well as explain it: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

The file name is cw2a.sol

On my computer it is in

%appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\L3Z8GVQV\chat.kongregate.com

Try moving that.

Good luck.

Edit: I should have added that the string highlighted in blue is random and machine-specific. Even on a second installation of the Flash Player, that string will be different on the same machine. Probably called the "local cache" or some such.
