Managed to backdoor it.

That was fun. Big ships!
It was so fun, I tried with a custom fleet afterwards, to see if my own special brew would reduce time,. but not really. The bad guys behaved a little differently the two times I played it. The lower "right blue" base was being far more harassed by Red when I played the 2nd time. It made for a different game play.

Great map!
