When updating programs , its often best to choose run , and not to save the file .
If it's an program you thrust and want to be updated .

*.air files will run when you double click them if you have Adobe AIR installed.  The .air extension just gets associated with the AIR installer.  When the game is first purchased, you get a .exe for windows (.dmg for the mac).  This exe is just an executable zip file that contains the Adobe AIR installer as well as the Creeper World .air file.

So, if you have bought and installed the game (or downloaded the demo and played it), you will have Adobe AIR already installed.  After that, you can simply install the game update by downloading the CW .air patch file.

If the install fails part way through, download it again.  A corrupt download can prevent the install.  If this doesn't help, ensure you don't have any AIR apps running (no tweet deck, etc) or flash app running, then try the install again.  A fresh reboot can often help ensure this.
