You made it super easy cause of the (I forget the name atm) Red creeper node. All you have to do it take it out, and boom, easy. which is easy with a guppy, sigularity and a couple PZ berta.

1)  Several ore patches but no mines other than the one pre-built.

2)  No way to use the ore until you get bombers--by the time I got them there was nothing I needed them for.

3)  Thor behind the inhibitor--what's the point?

Common mistake that makes map take longer to complete after inhibitor is done. Many mapmakers have done this mistake. :(
