You're right about that.  I misjudged the difficulty of the start and the ease of the mid / late game.  Def going to make adjustments future maps.

Still traveling through the cave, it seems you are finally getting close to the exit, but there is still particle in your way. This is the fourth part in a series of levels. All these levels let you use all tech, and build structure. These levels aren't too hard, you can respawn the HQ, and you won't often be in threat of dying, but it can be very Very hard to gain ground, making the levels kinda like puzzels.

Venturing deeper into the cave in search of a way out, you stumble into a hive of particle activity, if you can manage to destroy it you could deal a number on the red menace, still need to get back in time for dinner/// This is the THIRD part in a series of levels. All these levels let you use all tech, and build structure.
