The creeper at the bottom of this map was dialed up to 11. No reasonable strategy was working.
So, I dialed my attack up to 12 ...
I know the feeling, but the Creeper there is only at 8 or so if it's the map I'm thinking of ... maybe less, I'm not a CW2 expert.
No attack is at 11 when you have empty tiles that could support a reactor.
This was the map that gave you the "small rivers" of constrained creeper, that had massive density and shot bullets of creeper at you.
It took me a while to realize that I could break the dirt next to the rivers and it would NOT release creeper out the end -- that allowed me to make a full row of launchers.
I think that was the first map where I really understood how to use makers, and burst mode.
