Hi,
I am new to this forum and want to send Hello Community!

Maybe an answer to this question already exists, but I did not find it (sorry).

I want to let flow an unit a bit over the visible Creeper/AC height. The developers capped the visible height of Creeper/AC at a given cell for good reasons). Nevertheless I need the information about the visible height.

Could the developers pls tell us the underlying formula to calculate the visuible Creeper height? Even better, could you give us a command like
GetVisuableCreeperHeight(x z) (which returns us (including terrain at that given cell) the Y value where we could place a unit or a beam which would look like being at creeper height.

To let us keep GetLastExecutionCount of scripts low, best solution would be a 4rpl command which would allow the developer to change the function of visible creeper er height without breaking scripts trying to calculate that own their own?

Thx

I took some data samples, left column is the creeper height at a given cell, right column is (measured with help of beams) the visible Y height of the creeper at that cell (Terrain=1 already substracted).

It looks like that the capping starts at Creeper height 24, then we have some square math. Maybe anoyone sees the underlying equation?

Awesome, thx! :-)
Maybe a link to the command could added to the section in the FAQ ( https://knucklecracker.com/wiki/doku.php?id=cw4:frequently_asked_questions&s[]=creeper&s[]=height ) where the capping of creeper height is explained.

I tried in December 2020 and beginning of january 2021 to log in to the wiki several times, but it said, I have no rights to do it. If the wiki is opened to the community in between, how can I know this? It's not my job to check everyday if someone was so graceful to give community access to a wiki.

The wiki uses the same credentials as you use to log in to the forum here. The only part of the wiki that had restricted access was the 4RPL section, when that was removed we made an  announcement in the Discord.

If you have login or access issues in the wiki, please let me know and I will see if we can get the bottom of it.  Unless people inform us of issues, we remain blissfully unaware.

Sorry I am new to this community, . I could not check Discord because I was not active part of the community yet. I don't understand why you try to blame me for not knowing all the insider facts of people like you who are active here on a daily base. If this warm welcome is what I have to expect here, then thx and bye.

I am the moderator. We have no way to lock threads. And I was merely trying to be helpful and explain to you how to achieve certain things.

But fear not, I will now stop responding to you.
