When is the demo due out?
Sept 27 at the earliest, maybe Sept 28 (eastern daylight time).
It just needs a validation pass, so that may happen tonight/tomorrow.

Yay! I can't wait for that to get sorted and to play PF:E! CW3 is starting to get boring. Only rouble is that tomorrow it may be IAC or Particle Fleet D:

You deserve at least one day off. I know you get this a more than imagined, but a suggestion might be a weekly developers diary when games are close to release. This might end the ongoing question of "when is it coming out?"
Btw, I hope you are on schedule and things are going well. I check steam and this site daily for news. Any news is good news. A good game is a better thing than an unfinished and buggy release so I will wait for however long it takes.

Question. If the demo includes some of the story, which I think you said it would.... will that transfer to the full game, or will we have to start from scratch?

Progress will transfer to the full game. The demo is basically the same as the full game, just with most of the story missions left out, along with parts of the game (simu, exchange) not compiled into the game. Your settings and progress are stored in the same place in the demo and the full game, though.
So, play the demo then when you get the full game you carry on where you left off in the story.
The better question is: Where will we be able to download the game? ^^

Good to know, although I will probably just end up getting the game day 1 anyway(assuming I can scrounge up the cash).
