Title: Distributing/Favoring Energy
Post by: LanceChristophr on May 20, 2013, 09:59:50 PM
In CW1 we could stop the production of weapon packets, totem packets, etc. CW2 didn't really give you these options.

What if CW3 brought back the features but with a new spin. What if you could tip the production/distribution of packets by monitoring/favoring what you're trying to do. If you want more of an assault you could move a slider towards weapon packets, if you're pretty stable and trying to build perhaps you could move it more towards creating new buildings.

Thoughts?

CW3 has the packet functions of CW1 with the decision on whether or not to make packets of a certain type. But I'm not sure on whether Virgil wants to make it more focused or not.

I don't want or need it nearly as complicated as LanceChristophr, but I really really would like it if I could turn packet types on and off the way I could in CW1. Lets me overbuild, but then turn off build packets when I need the energy for weapons.

I love me some overbuilding.

I suggested an idea similar to this in the form of a building, but its purpose was more to convert packets that were already on the network.
