Post by: moo on July 03, 2017, 01:24:50 AM
2.12 64bit.
in previous version it crash when i switch focus to desktop, or switch to window mode from fullscreen mode
in this 2.12 version it won't ever launch.

Oops!
---------------------------
The game crashed.
The crash report folder named "2017-07-03_132404" next to game executable.
It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!

That's a crash right at the very beginning of directx initialization.
I might try running dxdiag on your system and see what it says.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/instantanswers/b319762b-f281-41b4-b746-d14de804b246/open-and-run-dxdiag-exe

And here is a short article from our friends at EA on how to run dxdiag:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/

It might or might not have anything to do with your issue but I note from your crash logs that you seem to have the latest ati GPU drivers and an ati GPU. But I also see
C:\app\System\MSI Afterburner\RivaTuner Statistics Server\RTSSHooks64.dll being loaded in the dll list.
I'm not super familiar with that, but a quick google seems to show that being used for nvidia based GPUs.

Exactly, problem is gone without afterburner. Afterburner is a tool to adds overlay to show OSD like FPS

It's funny that CW3 won't crash if CW3 starts before afterburner which then works fine

Afterburner again?
Wasn't that case in https://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=23600.0 also?
