I've searched and been unable to find... I'd like to restart my CW2 game from the beginning. I can't find a way delete old saves. Help?
Go to your appdata (windows 7: %appdata%) and click CreeperWorld2. Remove the gameData.dat file to reset your progress (backup the file for the case you want to reset it). You can also find your saves here. If you go to customgames you'll find your downloaded (in-game) maps.
Thank you for the response.
Can you help me find appdata and/or gamedata.dat?
search - %appdata%
open - roaming
open - creeperworld2
backup and delete - gamedata.dat
(back up the file in another folder or such)
If you're on Win7, it will be under C:\Users\<your name>, provided that you have allowed hidden files and folders to be viewed. Also, it will be under AppData\Roaming.
That did it!
Thank you very very much.
You're quite welcome!
Doesn't work for me. I tried the appdata thing and got to a work file which had a temp file which was empty. And I can't find where C:/users is either.
What OS are you on?
OS?
Operating system.
How do I find out what OS I am on? What tells me that?
Don't you know if you have windows, linux or lion? Right-click computer -> settings and you should be able to find out what OS you have. If not, can you post a screenshot of your dashboard?

Start by looking at your computer and tell us the name (make and model) of it.
It's a Toshiba Laptop that has windows7 on it.
1. Open the Start Menu.
2. Go to Computer.
3. Go to C:
4. Go to Users
5. Go to your user name.
6. Go to AppData. If you don't see the folder, skip down to the bottom for the instructions on making hidden folders visible.
7. Go to Roaming.
8. Go to Creeper World 2.
9. Delete gameData.dat to reset your progress.
If you can't view hidden folders, follow these steps:
1. Open the Start Menu.
2. Go to the Control Panel.
3. Open Folder Options.
4. Go to the View tab.
5. Under Hidden Files and Folders, check 'Show hidden files, folders, and drives'.
6. Hit Apply.
7. Return to step 6 in finding your gameData.dat file.
Well, it certainly erased all personal copies of time and score records for not just the storyline, but the bonus, custon, and code missions as well. Appreciated the assistance with the story part at least.
