In CW4 (it's inevitable)
What about the option to fund some sort of kickstarter style donation process in where people can donate 40$ and such for development to help improve CW4. Kind of as a way for really dedicated member of the Creeper Nation really get to help create these awesome revolutionary games. (and recieve sweet rewards too :D)
I just feel like a large portion of the fan base would be dedicated to helping you make a better game
(Also it could kind of be like we're chucking money at you to make the game faster and better)
For now, donating through Kongregate Tip Jar (http://www.kongregate.com/pages/help#whatkreds) works just fine and 100% of tips goes to the developer.
hm... but doing it thru the site would be cool. and you guys could make it so under your names and rank, theres a donation total, to make room for bragging rights. and that way those specific members that have donated lots could be easily recognized by V and maybe even given perks for donating a certain amount. i think this should be given more thought.
It makes sense for an indie dev to kickstart his first project. For a proven, established dev with resources to do so, just looks like a guy in a snappy business suit rattling a tin cup.
