The article shows how SSD is catching up to and then exceeding the HDD and how samsung is pushing it forward.
Good news, but HDDs won't be obsolete until SSDs become dirt cheap. The price gap will keep HDDs on shelves for quite a while.
The SSD main drive and HDD second drive will likely become much more common and everyone will have at least a small main SSD pretty soon. The form factors for an mSATA SSD and a laptop 2.5" HDD make it feasible for laptops, too.
