return to origin button

How come when I got to the screen that shows all the star systems of a sector, why no return to origin button?

You must get into a star system before you can return to main menu. I posted the same issue during beta, but I slowly got used to moving into a star system before returning to origin.

I agree it is confusing and wish that a consistent "return to previous screen", "back" button, etc. was at the upper right.  It would keep consistency and makes things more intuitive.
