Just dig & build reactors for energy, naturally taking the gems in the ground. Also take the nono-chips for "science" and put some into packet speed - build a FEW more for research to increase energy efficiency. The moon is "dig-able", just 25x times instead of 3, so takes longer (hence the need for better packet speed), take the "easy" white gems too. You should easily be able to "open" the moon before the drones escape.

i have been replaying some CW2 maps (had some laptop issues and needed a low power game for the temp laptop) and this one has me stumped...

too many drones, too much creeper and i am nowhere near breaking into the AC "moon" when the swarm of drones appears...

on the off chance someone who had an easier time of this sees this message... any ideas on a build order for the start?

do i need to dig out a chamber for my Ship and bunker it out for a bit?

ahh well...  ??? ::)

You just have to dig for the dark beam tech. There is enough time to build one before the drones come free.
