Custom Module Map 31 -> The Geass Weapon See Forum for Info #EnemyMK7Shots

In Map 31 we have Geass Weapon [by Eiyatizu]


Geass Weapon Stats

Range         = 114  Amped = 160
Damage Radius = 1    Amped = 3
Energy Use    = 40   Amped = 25
Cooldown      = 600  Amped = 300 (300 = 10 seconds)
Recoil        = 24   Amped = 16
BuildCost = 123

Different Emitters
There are 2 Types of Different Emitters in this Series.

In this Map only:

2 - A Slightly Bigger than Normal Blue one -> This is the FlipLock Emitter.
These Emitters shoot Red and Blue Particles in a Timed Interval and they can be "Locked"
meaning when you move into Range the Emitter wil only Shoot that Colour. [A Lock will appear on the Emitter]
When firing Red Particles these can be Destroyed and sometimes they leave an AmpGem.

OK, this has to be my new favorite custom weapon. Capturing all the enemy stuff brings back so many good Total Annihilation/Supreme Commander memories ;D

No idea how to win on this map, all enemy units destroyed..except the locked ones

Ohh, Total Annihilation must be one of my favorite games of all time. Love that game.

I just realized that I should have used SetShipIsEnemy to geass the ships instead of making them explode.

First of all, thanks a lot for all the great maps. Hours of fun :)

I do not understand how to use this custom module you speak about. Obviously, without it, I can't win this map. Where is it, how does it look like?

Hi KtaCharlot,
Thanks you, glad you enjoy the Maps :)

With all of the CM Maps the Custom Module is located on the land closest to the startbase.
In this map its the part of land leftside of the Base. There is the Ship Pickup for the FOXX Geass. (every Custom Module ship in the CM Series start with FOXX and then the name of the Custom Module.
Some Custom Modules require pressing a key to activate the Module but this Module Shoots when its charged up.

If you have Picked up the Custom Module ship and its not working then we have to look into that.
Hope this clears things up for you.

OK, I got the ship, but apparently its custom weapon  is not working. There is an empty space on the ship, I guess this is where the weapon should be rendered. See attached screenshot.

I run particle fleet 1.0 on Ubuntu 17.10. I use this command in a terminal to launch the game:
> LC_ALL=C ./ParticleFleet.x86_64
I see nothing that looks like an error in the terminal:

Yes KtaCharlot, you are right about that empty space on the ship.
There is where the Module should be.

Thanks for the added info -> this pops out:
"I run particle fleet 1.0 on Ubuntu 17.10"

I think upgrading to the newest version of PF will fix this issue but not sure how to do that on Linux (i use Windows)
