I was glad to find that 1.57 supported internet explorers proxy settings and would use them. However it appears as though in colonial space that the Submit Score and Submit Rating do not or use some other mechanism to post since they will error out with the following.
Error:Error getting response stream (Write:BeginWrite Failure):SendFailure
But I can at least now download and play DMD and colonial space maps ;D
Really.... I wasn't aware of the proxy support. This must be part of the unity WWW class they provide. I used different routines (direct mono routines for ssl) for some other things... those would be the things that don't work with a proxy bet.
In version 1.12 it would ignore the proxy settings of IE and I couldn't get DMD maps. But when I upgraded to 1.57 today I noticed I could along with the Colonial Space. So what ever ya changed it was a step forward for those of us stuck behind a proxy. :)
