[Suggestion] Omni range upgrade

Given the game's imbalance in terms of the strength (and magic properties) of omnis in quite a few maps, this would have to be a rare and difficult to achieve bonus to avoid breaking the game:

a magic gem that boosts omni range like a regular amp gem does in regular ships...

Let me rephrase the question... have you ever been playing a map and thought "darn, if only I could amp boost my omni lathe range!"?  :D

But it would have to be a difficult bonus and perhaps only applicable to 1 specific omni.

Perhaps you could have a special ship whose only function is to carry an amp gem that boosts the omnis within a specific range?

This is feeling like a PRPL upgrade. But we don't have an API for it yet, and V may wish to leave it hard-coded/global for efficiency.
