As I continue to replay and replay the demo missions I can't help but wonder if there is some kind of upgrade system in development apart for ERNs seen in the dev videos (as in Particle Fleet). Something more along the lines of the Forge (as seen in CW3) might be a nice addition.

The ERNs are the sole upgrade method.
