Fantastic map. It's not too difficult, but having all custom ships was great. I was a little worried in the beginning, having such little firepower, but aggressive use of omnis secured me the blueprints for heavier ships. The little ships doubled as bombers if needed, and they were cheap and quick to build. Hopefully the next map has more difficulty, but keeps the character and uniqueness of the custom fleet.

I enjoyed this very much. It wasn't especially challenging, but the story going in, and the character of all your matching custom ships made it very fun.

I'm just starting this game & found your storyline. It might be helpful to see what order they're supposed to be in. Can you post that please? Thanks!

That is Decagon's page, it has all his maps on it. Though I don't fully know if they are in order :/

Also I think you can set the Exchange wheel to show the order of release in maps. There are also map numbers you can look at.

I'll list them in number order right here though:

159 - Flashpoint
241 - Salvage Operation - http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=22148.0
254 - Mysterious Arrival - http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=22173.0
276 - Encounter in Deep Space - http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=22228.0
302 - Siege - http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=22287.0
314 - The First Wave - http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=22326.0
333 - Delving Deeper - https://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=22363.0
356 - The Hive - http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=22425.0
372 - Revelation - http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=22466.0

Revelation is his most recent map, and i'm sure there are many more to come! Decagon's map series is my favourite on here, he has a good storyline going. :)

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Yes, the order they've been released in is the order of the story. I really should have labelled the maps more clearly in hindsight, but I didn't want to start modifying the way the maps were labelled after the first few to keep with consistency.

Also, the very first map (Flashpoint) was more of a test, I guess, to see if a story could go somewhere, meaning it's a bit more disconnected from the 'main' story of the rest of them.

I'm currently working on a couple more maps for the story, so expect them coming to the exchange soon! :)

Man, I love the ships in this. They pack nice, form up well, don't take too long to build, and the way they evoke classic sailing ships is super fun. Makes it nice and intuitive to pull them together into tactical formations.

Emergent are a bit of a pain to deal with without missiles, but that's a fun challenge to overcome, too.

Good job!

... but my post was going to be waaay too O.T., so decided I'd put it here instead.

I've got my exchange to show me all of Decagon's maps, in order of release, and I am working my way through them.
Love your maps,. they are great. If you don't see my scores it's because I am a bit of an oddball that always uses "sandbox" even If I decide to use the recommended fleet. So you'll only see me there.

I'd already a few, as I came across them, so a bit of scatter, but now working through them all one by methodically, start to current. About to begin #678 Data corruption.

Loving them all. Thanks for your hard work.

I'm glad you're enjoying them! It still warms my heart to see people still playing these old maps. :D
