in the first story mission you couldn't move your ship .. is there a way to make it so you can't move your ship in a cursom may WITHOUT having to surround it with un-digable blocks ?

Sadly... No, I'm hoping it'll come in a future update, but I know about as much as you do in that respect.

You can block it by placing some Solid terrain under it, the ship can then still send out packets but can't move, so problem solved.

Yep, when placed in a corner, 2 solid tiles are enough.

I think sqaz meant putting a solid block below one of the tiles occupied by the LS, thus immobilizing it by one block.

UpperKEES

My LS can move sideways as well.... Yay! ;)

You actually need 2 blocks still (or 1 if it's at the top or bottom of the map) because the LS is only 2 cells high, if you only have 1 block the LS will be able to move up or down depending on which side you put it on.
