No, I've not read any of those novels. A great many of the names in CW are from Norse mythology. Gudrun was the sister of Gunnar for instance. I chose Norse mythology since it has a lot of great names :) It also adds a sense of mystery as to why the people of the distant future would have named their colonies and their great city after characters from Norse mythology....
that's probably where games workshop got the name from too, a lot of the names are from history there too
but yeah i notice little stuff like spelling and grammer mistakes :P
