The city has landed on a platform in the center of an arena, surrounded by creeper emitters. Intelligence reports indicate that spore attacks will come from all directions on this world, with increasing frequency and intensity.

I was trying to break out a little too early, and got overrun.  The second attempt, with more reactors, went more smoothly.
