"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.... Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.... Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?.... Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?" --- Epicurus

Johnny Haywire

Absolutely! I actually enjoyed the first one - except for the horrible lag - but this one is incredibly smooth after the first few minutes.

What's especially cool is that from the very start you can take multiple approaches - attack from the void or push through the land.

I did this one with no spores, which was a different kind of fun. TONS of PZ's so there's potential to do whatever you want. Victory is inevitable, but it's still not an absolute cakewalk.

Everything a PAC challenge could ask for! What's not to love?

Thanks for the map!! =)
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?

Do the sprayers northeast have an endless supply of AC? Is that some CRPL?

Im pretty sure its just ac collection. A lot of ac gets dumped on that island.

Johnny Haywire

Yeah, it's ac collection. If you take down the southern island before the top island, you'll notice the AC pool draining down, although it's slow. It's kinda weird though. The ore is south, bombers take it north, sprayers collect & spray it, and the AC guppies take it back down south. Seems a little inefficient but whoever is in charge of the Human Colony might be more into arts, yoga, and unions than STEM.

I had a very hard time making any progress on the top right command center, I think there are nuances to play as creeper I'm unfamiliar and crap with.  Also the humans are cheating.

I wanted to overwhelm the beams with spores but I could not as they were too beamy and never ran low on energy.  Sporing creeper over the void to make a digitalis bridge is slow and awkward work, though I eventually figured out how to do it better with the pushy arrow.  I tried to close every pop up telling me a building was destroyed and now my hand is sore.

I started writing this post asking for help because I couldn't do it but then I went back and beat it, accomplishing my goals.  Now this message has little purpose but I wrote it out so I'm going to share it.  Follow your dreams and you can be just like me

There's a setting in menu: menu -> misc -> 'Do not show game event notification tags'

The other way of doing it which I use more often is to use the alternate mode of the digitalis tool.

If you press 'T' on the digitalis tool then it will switch to deletion mode. Deleting digitalis in the void will cause all the creep on it to immediately spill out. You can use this to spread digitalis without using spores: select the digitalis tool, hold mouse click down over the desired area, quickly press 'T' twice to flick to delete mode and back again. The digitalis should be remade while also spilling the creep, combine this with the pushing tool to spread in a desired direction.

No cheats but there are a lot of buildings stacked on top of each other, on power zones, and that island is also getting support from the rest of the map. The stacked buildings can also sometimes hide the power bars of other buildings on that spot so that can be misleading.

It takes a lot of spores to overwhelm empowered beamers (I think like 12 spores for 1 empowered beamer?). If you do the island last then you have more than enough spores from the rest of the map.
