An all-out frontal assault isn't a very good idea... And make sure you have a lot of Beams ready, always... As this map is... Unforgiving, at times. Good Luck.

Any feedback would be great, in case I make a harder version.

Dude, this is a really well-done map. That is, assuming you're going after a higher-difficulty level and low ratings which come as a result of such difficult maps.

Uneven terrain aggravates me. I do admit, however, that it is more realistic and also lends itself to a better challenge. I terped about 1/5 of the map anyway. Thanks for adding terps and most other units btw.

I started in the middle but it required too much micro and I didn't feel like doing that so I migrated. I do suspect that it's possible to survive in the middle - I think I ended up abandoning it around the 10-minute mark or so. The first time, everything was going ok until the tiniest bit of creeper somehow got in the base and wiped out half my reactors in about 2 seconds. When I restarted, I decided to repurpose the middle just to accumulate and send resources elsewhere.

As for feedback, it looks like fewer than 10% of players are able to finish this map, judging by downloads and scores. I mean, if you really want to make it MORE difficult I'm sure you could. But multiple difficulties of similar or identical maps are kinda annoying, imo. I think it's a great map as it is and an excellent test of skills and strategy. Great job!

Thanks for the map!! =)

Glad you enjoyed it.
By the way, it IS possible to survive in the middle, and it's the "intended" path.
You land in the middle, hold it, then terp and capture the "shattered moon", an use it as a fire support outpost or staging ground for attacks, but again any method is valid, it's the charm of this game.
Thanks.

(by the way though, how the hell did you spend 19 hours beating this lmao)

LOL - I messed up the middle and just made a base on the moon and held that. In a lot of games, once I get a good defense, I'll just walk away or do something else for an hour or two (4-8 hours game-time) while the forge builds up. I enjoy the game, but I prefer not to spend so much RL time on each map. I think I have a couple of 72+ hour scores somewhere... is there an award for that? :P
