Just another rather hard vanilla map. You will encountwe some nasty runners, some spores, collapsing digitalis... But before you start to fight the swirl, you have to establish a base and encounter the ore field... Have fun!

Nice map.

Would have got it much earlier, but apparently I renamed myself Mr. Jit for this one.  E.Jit.

I kinda forgot we had Berthas. It's *hard* to take that core spiral without Berthas!

Lol - I didn't even try to attack the swirl w/o Berthas - I could imagine 3 swarms of incoming cannon/mortars in combination with the singularity, but tbh, I don't feel like I want to do that :)

The center is simply too hard to kill.  200 seconds of singularity weapon wasn't enough to charge a nullifier, despite having as many distractions in there as I could fit.

Hm, when you bring
Spoiler
a couple of berthas (including the PZ-Bertha) and two or three snipers
[close]
it should be no problem, at least no bigger problem. You might want to have a look
Spoiler
at the not exact symetrical center of the swirl

.

Hope that helps and

Sorry, I really forgot to mention
Spoiler
that the use of the Freeze-AoO is pretty mandatory...

Also, the Singularity doesn't get stronger with a longer duration. You can stack two, though.

Snipers are unnecessary on this map... you can contain most everything with just berthas if you time them to constantly kill the digitalis at the source.

There's enough AC to drown the map if you walk away for a few hours and are pummeling the center with berthas. At that point, the freezes will be optional since you can safely go right to the islands. It takes a while, but since this map is so light on the cpu, you can run at max speed with no problems.

Cool map, especially for a vanilla  ;D

I would have preferred maybe 150 spores instead of just 3. Three spores should shoot off within 2-3 minutes every 15 seconds to qualify as a "hard" map. Although you did say "rather hard" which I suppose could mean "somewhat hard" - but there isn't much of a threat in this map, just a bit of a challenge to take the center. Fun map, nonetheless.  ;)

Thanks for the cool map, Bilbo!  ;D
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?
