Damn, nice sequel hook there with the ERN zone/portal. Can’t wait to see what that is!
I’m guessing this came about more from the ‘I wonder how I would go about coding that’ side, than the ‘this is something the game really needs’ side. Either way, it’s pretty cool, and I’m looking forward to playing some of the interesting maps it inspires!
Unfortunately, the video is not loading for me.
Is there supposed to be a video? It doesn’t work in Waterfox.
And also not in Vivaldi, and also not in Internet Explorer and also not in Chrome.
But, it does work in Edge! It seems to be the only browser where it works?!?

The https webpage works in all browsers, the http only works in Edge (for me).
Fantastic video, and am very anxious to get your next game. Your CW1 and CW3 are absolutely fantastic. I literally played a large map yesterday. Boy, is it still a fun game!!!
Using Firefox, the link in post starts with ahttps://… , which obviously doesnt work.
Aside from that, great work you have done, the maps we are going to see made with this will be even more impressive than in the previous games.
An idea I got from the YT comments: The decals can probably be scripted to move, but can you also use gifs? That would add some interesting possibilities for the more specialized map makers.
Just fyi – the audio is no longer playing on any of your YouTube videos. I’ve tried in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. The videos play and the captions work – just no audio.
What did you do differently in the uploading process that makes this harder to watch than anything else?
What problem are you seeing? There is a link to the video directly on youtube near the top, does that link play fine for you?
I don’t know how or why, but this video is embedded per flash. Your other videos (or at least the last I checked ๐ ) is embedded per html5 player. That will surely explain the problems as most modern browsers disable flash through one way or another. Edge not, which doesn’t surprise me. ^^
Looks like some plugin for embedding youtube got reactivated after the last blog update. I’ve turned that off so hopefully it is better now.
Now I imagine some fan trying to extract their custom maps for Gary’s Mod or those virtual chats.
