    Congrats!

Too bad CW3 is very rapidly being pushed off the New Releases section by a flood of shovelware games pushed to the service on the same date by one developer – bad timing I guess. I hope you’re still going to earn a fair share of deserved money from your game 🙂

Hopefully the Steam user store system will help solve stuff like this.

If you don’t know what I am talking about, Steam is going to unroll user stores ( you pick your favorite games and promote them for a % of Steam’s processing fee ). So authors like Virgil will get actual marketing support from their fans and Steam will benefit by having people filtering shoddy clones and abandonware projects.

    Steam? No thank you.
Steam sucks, and is extremely unreliable. When I want to play CW3, I prefer to play without hoping steam is up.

Seriously? I use Steam several hours a week, and I’ve only seen the service down once in the last five years. I’ve occasionally seen the store page down for a few seconds, but not the service to access my library. I think we may have different definitions of “extremely unreliable”.

Btw, if the Steam server were ever down (or your internet is out) you can still run the client and launch your games.

i can understand what he means by ot starting steam. he means not waiting for it to start. just open his laptop and click the shortcut to play it.

Mannnn does this take me back!
I remember when I was still a wee kid playing this weird ass flash game back at armor games or another flash site and I was like “HOLY CRAP! WTF IS THIS!?” Ever since then I’ve had for attrition type Strategy games: but alas I could any games couldn’t find a games like it; so I settled for the next best things SRPGs (thanks for setting my tastes in games). I have to admit I didn’t pay for your second game and I played through it, but it didn’t have the desolate hopeless feel the first game had which in part made it so fun for me. Years latter and a debit card on hand I perusing steam (today of all days one day after greenlit) and BAM!!! what do I find CREEPER WORLD III!!!!! So to make up for pirating your last game I bought your game for 13 bucks (enough for a stake) and it is downloading as I type ^.^ I can’t wait to see how the game will play now that you brought it back to an eagle’s eye perspective (Thank you so very much!!!)
And finally Thanks you very much!!! I love your woks and hope this and future games of yours do well!!! (thanks again you ruined me for other genres.)

Just sent you a personal message about the future potential of being able to choose colors for the in-game turrets and ships and such :> Most people don’t value color-changing too much, but it really does make a (cosmetic!) difference :> Ability to change creeper color (which I didn’t even find til I had already played for ten hours or so..) blew my mind 🙂 Now my black anti-creep is fighting viciously against the menace that is.. WHITE CREEPER. 😛

And again, thanks for putting this on Steam, and I hope it goes very well for you (I’ve already got at least two buddies mystified to the point that they’re going to buy it soon enough, and one other friend that has already purchased it.. I’ve barely scratched the surface, and the more impressed I get the more I’ll squeal about it haha :>

Hoping development isn’t fully done on it and that more additions are on the way, and keep up the good work!
