V-Rod [V-Power CPack]

The V-Rod will increase the amount of energy produced by all V-Reactors by 0.2 and there is no limit to how many you can build by default thanks to the power of V-Technology! (So long you can manage the uncontained V-Grid power that is). The ERN Port energy efficiency will also increase this power boost up to 0.3 for each V-Rod.

  • Increases energy production of all V-Reactors by 0.2, 0.3 if at maximum Energy ERN Port efficiency. How much the V-Reactors benefit/use this increase is dependent on the V-Grid's uncontained V-Grid power1).
  • No build-limit by default. You can indeed have so many that a single V-Reactor can produce 1,000 energy.
  • Reduces uncontained V-Grid power by 1.5.
  • Greatly resists damage from brownouts2) but is not immune.
  • Costs 40 Liftic to build.
  • 1.75 HP.
  • Upon being obliterated (instantly reaching 0 HP), the V-Rod will failsafe to prevent a nuclear grade explosion from vaporizing nearby terrain and creating a crater while also annihilating everything in a 10km radius and perma-stunning units within a 50km radius. A single tile/cell in CW4 is 1km cubed by the way in this lore. The failsafe will only release a nullifying energy pulse, greatly stunning nearby units but not creating any explosion.
  • Explodes in a meltdown upon structural failure (less than 0.5 HP but more than 0 HP) that is capable of destroying nearby V-Rods and causing a limited chain-reaction. The meltdown heavily damages any surrounding units (including enemies) unequipped to withstand the resulting blast pressure and plasma fallout as the Creeper-proof chamber containing the fabricated <REDACTED> is compromised and the <REDACTED> violently begins to corrupt every atom that makes up the Creeper, turning those atoms into <REDACTED> byproducts.3)

All numbers are the vanilla/base version. They can be changed at any time by any map maker.

Bonus Lore

Here is a ton of flavor text/lore about getting to 1,000 energy per V-Reactor just for the comical thought of it. :WARNING: Wall of text incoming.

…….. After you somehow found a location with enough space for enough V-Rods, somehow found yourself on a planet so absurdly rich with <REDACTED> substitute that I would never believe you if you said the planet wasn't already made of void-black colored metal with glowing Emerald-Green lines everywhere, and, using the power of imagination (since the prior is 100% impossible canonically besides only infinity-probability giving you a greater than 0 chance), say you somehow magically (against infinity-probability, quantum-probability, and all quantum dimensional mechanics under the exploitation of the Vertu Empire), found said planet rich in <REDACTED> substitute and not made of metal so dark, it would incinerate you from walking on it bear foot using nothing but the absorbed solar energy, somehow manage to gather/harvest/refine the Greenar effectively enough to not take over 168 hours to finish this project, obtained enough Liftic that the Vertu Empire would probably be hitting the local fabric of space within the solar system with a dimensional battering-ram to tear a dimensional rift in said fabric of space large enough to let an entire solar-system from one of their core/major/developed dimensions to enter your reality and claim that all your base belongs to them meanwhile you are in the process of this absurd and mentally questionable project… SOMEHOW avoided being exterminated by a military force the size of a solar system who are trying to conduct a 100% exterminatis speed run and are more than willing to incinerate the surface of your planet down to the planet's mantle. And only then after that traumatic disaster of an experience would you finally have a V-Reactor producing some 1,000 energy after all of your hard work while a very angry Empire is in orbit preparing to use a super weapon to rip the atoms of your Rift Lab into an alternate dimension with the closest properties to hell. Start praying that they don't know you can Rift Jump (which they most certainly do). If you somehow fended them off to finish your 1,000 power V-Reactor project, you diffidently got 6/5 stars in GTA 5 right now.

1)
See the V-Reactor page for details.
2)
A brownout is when a power-grid demands more energy than is available, resulting in damage to electrical equipment as the electric current is strained to the point of burning any non-resistant thing that it flows through, including the wires themselves at times. All items on the electrical circuit are also strained for power. A lightbulb on a circuit experiencing a brownout will struggle to shine brightly, regularly dimming and brightening with the flow of the electric current.
3)
Fortunately for you (and for the Creeper and least fortunately for Vertu), this releases so much energy that the elements within the Creeper that can continue to serve as a <REDACTED> catalyst and/or runaway transmutation starting point, quickly become too energized to experience atomic transmutation from <REDACTED> corruption efficiently or simply rise in an atmosphere as a hot gas to avoid contact with the <REDACTED>, preventing a phase-0 start of a planetary corruption process.
