The RESTOCKv Beacon, known just as “RESTOCKv”, is a specific structure found within the STRUC tab that can be placed anywhere at any time, including “on top” of another unit and with no cost. It will periodically use energy as a means of assessing the availability of energy from the Rift Lab or some other source like Porters.

The beacon tells the AutoRestock AI of all VAUs to come to its location when wanting to restock.
Whenever the beacon obtains an offline condition, all VAUs will AutoRestock at the Rift Lab and ignore it.

Offline conditions:

• Stored ammo is 0.
• A surpassed threshold of Creeper is in the area as scanned from the immediate area of the beacon.
• Is destroyed (otherwise, VAUs will still go the the location it once was).

So long the beacon is placed at a terrain height of 15 or greater, all VAUs will be able to connect to a Pylon (and Rift Lab) located directly “under” it. This is proven fact, so don't worry about the possibility of a VAU positioning itself a specific way that is too far from the Pylon (or Rift Lab) below the beacon.

The RESTOCKv beacon will enforce a build limit of 1. Upon importing the VAUs CPACK is the only time it is possible to place more than 1 beacon without intervention. After any future Gameloads including in the editor, will trigger this enforcement of build limit and only happens on :Gameloaded for there is no reason to persist this enforcement.

The beacon is not intended to move, be destructible, or have multiple on the map at one time.

• Upon being destroyed by any means, the Rift Lab becomes the AutoRestock location.
  
• If multiple are on the map, the last placed RESTOCKv will be the AutoRestock location.
  
• The beacon will not update the AutoRestock location if ever to move. Don't make it movable. Its form of “motion” is being removed by the player manually and placed elsewhere. A far more convenient method than needing to wait for its transit.

The only change during PAC_MODE is becoming unselectable.
