Nullifier

Nullifiers suppress one or more enemy units (Emitters, Spore Towers, Blob Nests, Skimmer Factories or Air Sac Cauldrons). They can only be built within range of one or more of the above and need a constant supply of energy to operate.

Suppressed units do not perform any of their functions and essentially act like a space-occupying setpiece. If a Nullifier loses all energy, it must re-charge fully before resuming suppression on any enemy units.

After version 1.3, you can OVERLOAD a Nullifier on maps with the feature enabled by pressing the red button on its unit panel. It consumes a lot of energy to charge. A charge meter will show on the hover-tooltip and unit panel. Once the overload finishes, both the nullifier and the enemy unit will be destroyed. Destroyed enemy units will lower the total number of enemy units required to complete nullification objectives, as the unit simply doesn't exist anymore. Overload is enabled in Mark V and Chronom, but not available in the campaign or Span Experiments.
