This map isn't working as designed (at least I don't think so).  If the piece in the bottom right is supposed to be the "dark sun", its emitter is WAY too weak (15k?) to be any kind of threat--I actually killed it as soon as it cracked open and I could get in.  And there was so much anti-creeper around that by the time I cleared a path to the upper-left, the gateway couldn't get packets there, no matter how fast I tried to build vacuuming makers (and charging makers to stash the anti-creeper).

Was this supposed to be mission 14? (Haven't had time to play yet.)

First off. The emitter near LS is not the sun. It is a moon of the world on the left. The reason it's emitter is so weak is that if it was any other strength, the bunkers inside would die before you could get to them.

As for your anti creeper problem. I can't say I know what you're talking about. A picture would be nice. If you do not touch the planet near the sun in the top right, the fields at work should force all creeper towards the sun. Anti-Creeper included.

Consider ETF14 to be a zoomed out version of ETF13. Where you are seeing the rest of the solar system that revolves around the creeper sun.

With the information provided, I can only assume that you found a way to kill the two emitters in the top right, which led to anti creeper producing so much, that it covered the screen.

Yes. It is 14. I don't know why it says 13.

Indeed, that is what happened.  They only have 5 HP, and it only took 3 launchers to get them under control enough that I could get nullifiers near them.

Another amateur mistake by me. But mapping is a learning process. If I don't make a mistake, I won't learn how to better improve myself. 6 more maps to go. Let's enjoy the ride.

wonderful use of the game depth in order to make the map. Enjoyed it greatly.

Both of these problems could have been solved by one thing, I believe. That is of beacons. But of course, this would involve me testing beacon ranges. Sometimes I forget these things.

I also killed the upper right emitters early. The AC can easily be corralled with shields.  Cheesy

Very nice. I could probably improve my time considerably by being more careful with my digging/building order and power usage. (And by knowing what not to build.)

edit. And success. Wink Still time to be gained; I had several failed tries to nullify the final emitter.

Cracking game ETF. Love the series and this was a clever counter beneficial of anti creeper. took a failed first attempt to realise that your friendly ac is sometimes you enemy. Loving the series, you must be the best designer around!

Finishing one of ETF's games and continuing to read the story is worth the price of admission.
Thank you.
