Steam Anniversary Edition bugs

I have come across a few bugs with the new Steam version of CW1.  It has random crashes (though rarely) but the most annoying bug I have found is that every time I beat a story mode level and it tries to load the next level, the game gets stuck on "Loading Mission..." and I have to exit the game and relaunch.  The stuck on "Loading Mission..." also rarely happens when newly launching the game.

That sounds like it might be related to not being able to access the directory it reads/writes data to.  Either that, or something common like interference from the steam overlay.  So disable the steam overlay if you have not done that yet.

For the data dir, check this location:
c:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming\CreeperWorld

Make sure your user can read write that location and the the gameData.dat file is getting written to, etc.
